well, i popped out to somewhere i hoped would be dark enough, the fields by the path from storey's way to eddington, between the astronomical observatory and huntingdon road

the aurora was too faint to really see, i couldn't tell if it was actually aurora or just light pollution reflecting off hazy clouds

i do not have a driving licence but i did have some driving lessons in the dim and distant past … i was mildly alarmed when my driving instructor told me to take us through high wycombe’s magic roundabout in my, what, 5th lesson?!

@ajlanes @goatsarah i have found that i usually book early enough to get a seat at the front of the plane, nice, and i pay for the fast track, breezy, and i have learned how to get immigration fast track when i return via stansted too, which sadly i have to get separately, but all in all it isnt that bad

and i gather ryanair treated their employees better than most through the panini, so ? could be worse

could be better but not everywhere is reachable by train
