So "purposely" is intentionally, and "purposefully" is deeper, it's doing something in a manner that is imbued with purpose.
Not only did you intend to do this, you steadfastly steered the course toward this action and have a clear envisioned path beyond it.
@clacke in my version of english we say “on purpose” instead of “purposely”
(and “purposefully” is as you described it)
