Most of the time this place is a place of joy and camaraderie, thanks to you folks. Because it certainly isn't an algorithm or a bot net. It's only nice here because you are here and you contribute.

I’ve never gotten over the fact that I need breaks from people, and sometimes I go months without calling my best friend

I wish that I could say when you’re not in front of me we are just paused without it sounding negative. That it’s not personal that we haven’t spoken, and the social rule of pinging each other is odd to me so I am not very good at it. I just get better at making reminders to text you, that the reminders are an act of love, and when I forget it hurts me too
