@samsethi Your economic model may not be "wrong", but the way I read your thread here, this would be a clear step away from v4v because the subscription model immediately assumes a fixed value amount back to the podcaster on an assumed fixed value received by the listener.

Tools to generate transcripts are more available and are far better than even a year ago, but even with crystal clear audio content, the resulting text requires a lot of painstaking manual editing effort.
Those tools don't really learn yet, either. Once they start to accept manual edits and learn the sounds/words that were corrected, they'll improve; probably dramatically.
