Thinking of Brianna Ghey, the young trans woman who was brutally murdered one year ago today, 11 February.

I'm happy to see Mhairi Black has written a column for The National about Sunak's incredibly ill thought out anti-trans "joke" during PMQs last week - but I'm not so happy that it's paywalled so I can't actually read the damn thing.

Although, from what I can see of the comments, it seems it probably contains enough of her incisive insight to have upset the transphobes.

With the recent changes in ownership of Bandcamp and now the potential sale of Soundcloud, I have a sense of foreboding about what the future may hold for those of us who aren't necessarily trying to monetise our creativity and just want an online space to share our stuff.
