@salad_bar_breath IDK, I looked into Hoopla a couple of years ago and found out we were limited to 3 watches per month and it was pretty costly to our library. If I remember correctly, they were being charged $2 per view.

I'm thinking free as is beer alternatives such as PlutoTV and Tubi might be a better option.

@clacke I just commented on another post that language, when used correctly, changes and that irks some to no end.

Often in ways we don't like. I used to be a 'grammar nazi'. But now I mostly let grammar and word misuse go without comment.

That's a good thing because I live in the birthplace of 'irregardless'.

@clacke While I've used ALGOL and PASCAL I don't remember hearing of Wirth. I'll have to do some research.

@clacke As soon as I said this, I learned she's beaten a GM. The highest rated person I've beaten was only a senior master in the USCF. Based on that one datapoint she's better than I am.

@clacke They are only so-so in chess knowledge(probably on par with me actually) but nice looking girls who know how to give it as good as they get have a ready made audience in the chess world as the do in most other worlds.
