   Kid is shouting excitedly with an internet friend. I get curious and go look what they're doing.

   They're playing chess!

   Kid was winning but hasn't learned the endgame, so it turned into a stalemate.

     Half an hour later I heard a third internet friend explaining to the two how a stalemate works, because they still weren't sure what had happened.

     @Jason_Dodd It's a chess plugin integrated to their chat channel. Pretty cool.

     It's not a chess-related chat, it's about a violent animated sci fi youtube series with no chess in it. 😃

     @Jason_Dodd If you like robots and mass murder plots I can highly recommend Murder Drones. It's a bit high on itself and tries to be mysterious and deep, but it's also quite fun and exciting.

     The fan base is beyond delightful from what I've seen, warm and creative people.

     @clacke One of the milestones I remember is the first time I saved a completely lost game with a stalemate.

     Until that first time seems like a myth.
