I am very odd, I think. I don’t adjust my media consumption for holidays. No need for spooky stuff this time of year. No Xmas stuff ever. Not a big fan of seasonal stuff in general.

I'm going to be generous and say those with modified exhaust vehicles and thumping bass soundsystems have no clue how far low frequency sound waves travel and resonate inside houses many hundreds of feet away. I choose not to believe they are deliberately being assholes, but they are.

Clearly, many vicious right wing wind bags have been chronically bereft of love, family, and support and therefore find its expression distasteful and shocking. Why anyone would want heartless, selfish assholes like that in charge of the country is unsettling.

I've not paid a NYT or WaPo subscription for years. No TV news whatsover. I do not miss it. I also will not renew my @TheAtlantic subscription this year because their coverage has been poor of late.
