You know that spam you're getting in your mentions and multiple domains right now due to, ahem, opt out design and endless open registrations? Is it annoying you yet? For real, I hope all the Fedi bros and tech bros that think everything should be opt out instead of opt in that they get so flooded with all this spam, their notifications are unreadable. I utterly loathe tech people sometimes. And oh yes, before you say that well this is different because my something something only works if someone actively follows you. Hey @buttondown@mastodon.social I've started the documentation, but I am unfortunately documenting how to get around the inaccessibility and missing labels more than actually using the website, which makes me sad! One big place I'd say labeling needs attention is the buttons, called switches, in the settings screen. None of them appear to have labels, they just say a state. Turn on, turn off. I tried to add labels myself but it became confusing for me as well! I can't tell which label corresponds to which buttons! Could you attach labels to those controls? That would make documentation far easier to write! #Accessibility @buttondown@hachyderm.io

Wish Mastodon and forks had a kind of AFK type thing for when people take social media breaks. I will be taking such a break soon, but am unsure if I should move everyone to my updates only secondary account or mark myself as a bot for when I am away.
