    If it loads in Reaper and is %100 usable then yeah, I'd be stupid to not use Linux for audio. I'm just wondering if wine will cause a performance hit because I like to oversample Serum. Reaper is so good with CPU usage though I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

    NGL this is quite literally 2x faster than Windows on the other HDD, it's amazing.

    Also Reaper is stupid fast, only a 11 MiB binary for such powerful software!

    For example kdenlive would just crash during renders. I was using the binaries in the repos, not compiling the ports.

    I would say FreeBSD, but when I tried it so many of the ports were buggy and or broken. It's not for creative work. Linux barely does it and thankfully something like Ubuntu-Studio exists because I don't have the patience for trial and error configuring.
