That's gross. I cook professionally and find that appalling. People need to raise their standards just a bit.

Oh hey I got the DAC but you didn't include the power supply, I only have 12V AC supplies at my pad and it requires a 5V DC lol, so it's a paperweight at the moment.

Software tools used are wine-staging from winehq repos for Noble Ubuntu, yabridge, and these tips
"Serum requires you to disable d2d1.dll in winecfg and to install gdiplus through winetricks. You may also want to disable the tooltips by going to the global settings tab, unchecking 'Show help tooltips', and clicking on the save icon next to 'Preferences'."

The Linux nerds on the fedi prodded me for using Windows and I was like okay fuckers, you don't know me, I can Linux. But respectfully the Linux scene with audio has improved by leaps and bounds. Consider all google searches about making music on Linux obsolete...

Things have really changed, but you still need a Linux background and some basic knowledge around the terminal, packages, wine, etc. Guess all those years of doinking off installing distros and BSDs paid off.
Even if your not interested in using wine to run windows plugins, the existing options that run natively are really fucking good. Like Vital and Surge XT and some effects plugins could make you killer tracks tbh.
