@liztai thank you. I feel vindicated. How they got 40 episodes where the only plot line was misunderstandings due to poor communication is beyond me.

@liztai lol. Right?! All my Viki reviews get down voted ever since I said that Only For Love was garbage. I said the script was a waste of Bai Lu & Wang Hedi's talent (although, I think Bai Lu does best in costume dramas anyway).

@liztai I kinda want to watch Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, but Esther Yu's voice.... That's one actress I wish they used a VA for. 😂

@liztai I'm ok with tragic endings. Like One and Only was a masterpiece.

Anyway, I'm starting to struggle a bit with Pearl Girl. It starts strong, but around episode 16... I won't spoil it if you haven't started it.

At least Fangs of Fortune is way better than I anticipated it would be.

I've finished #KillMeLoveMe #cdrama. I actually liked the end. I know there were complaints, and that it might not have followed the novel, but how it ended made complete sense to me. The writing, however, totally fell apart for me in the middle. Like they stopped paying the writers for 6-7 episodes. The start was great. I liked the end, but the middle fell apart.

Now on to The Story of Pearl Girl. I'm excited to see what Lusi brings to the role. She usually plays quirky, yet sweet girl next door type roles. This one looks much more dramatic and stabby.

@liztai agree. Lol. After watching episode one, a cdrama friend said that both the main characters in Kill Me, Love Me are unhinged, but he's unhinged with accessories, and I couldn't agree more. 🤣

@liztai honestly, I've never seen him in anything else. I checked his mdl record and it looks like he hasn't had many main roles. Hope he'll have alot after this. He's awesome.

the #cdrama Kill Me, Love Me started airing today with episodes 1-3 released. Yes, I've watched them already. Yes, this one is going to be amazing. I already think Wu Jinyan is an amazing actress, but Lui Xue Yi totally stole the first three episodes. His character is full of contradictions and he's both a broken human and totally invincible. He plays maudlin and stoic scenes back to back and pulls them both off as an unhinged, yet determined disabled, vengeful prince.

My 7 year old looks like a jack-o-lantern with all his missing teeth. He just asked me which tooth is his sweet tooth because he's worried he'll lose it before Halloween and will no longer like candy.

If only it were that easy, kid.

I've started The #cdrama Are You The One? The dub for the male lead is killing me. It's not good. Not sure if the actor did the voice himself or if they used a voice actor, but it's mumbly.

Other than that, it's a decent romantic comedy. I'm 11 episodes in and it's super ridiculous in a good way. It's about a prince with a vendetta against a bandit. He finds the bandit's lover injured and decides to heal and use her to capture the bandit. When she wakes up, she has amnesia and thinks he is her husband.

Zhang Wan Yi's character is so oblivious and callous. His facial expressions are making me lmao.

Like here when his "wife" was feeling friendly.

The guys delivering my grill left their dolly unattended so I told 7 to get on it and then I wheeled him up to them and he said "Hello Clarice."

I've finished Lost You Forever. No spoilers, but I will say I'm a bit disappointed. Gonna pretend the last 3 episodes didn't exist. #cdrama

@justsusan no. She was kind enough to take my kids to the beach for a week. She's got my van so they could fit everyone.

On a scale of little white lie to sleeping with your friend's dad how heinous of me is it to use my sister's car to pick up steamed crabs 30 minutes away?

IMO, The reason it's illegal is that sex workers are/were primarily women. By criminalizing it hundreds of years ago, it severally lessened a woman's earning potential and pushed the narrative that women belonged to their men. It forced us to toe the line or be seen as moral degenerates.

We pay people to clean our houses, cut our grass, build stuff, etc. Sex work is just another way people use their bodies to make money. There should be no moral stigma attached to it.

I will only make one toot about voting today.

For my fellow Pennsylvanians who ignore local elections, I get you. But, there is one really important race today to get you to the polls. A state supreme court seat is up for grabs. This race could determine if abortion remains legal in PA.
