    @LadyMont Gambling is something that has a huge impact on many people. No one make serious money from occasional gamblers. You make the money from the addicts. But sure, the companies will take steps to help their best customers not be customers anymore. Just like how fastfood chains fight obesity.

    @Piss_Ant @Rogue_Koala @polarisera It's nice that they do something more creative than shooting people to bits in video games. But I do feel bad for raising a bunch of total nerds of course. Although, I also am a total nerd and it has served me well.

    One thing that I do find striking though is the huge size inflation where the figures keep getting bigger and bigger. I still have the Vampire Counts which I secretly collected as a teen and they are positively tiny next to newer models. Nowadays, they mostly get recruited to have a bunch of zombies to shoot at.

    But at least it's relatively affordable and keeps them busy.

    It's been ages since I played it. One of my girls is into it so she has a huge amount of tanks and the like. My youngest then got jealous so I gave her some things as well but she doesn't really do a lot with those space marines which she did say are all girls who are smart enough to wear helmets.
