Estoy empezando un proyecto de desarrollo de software en español y la cosa se siente rara.
La mente está acostumbrada a escribir todo en inglés y ahora no sabe si escribir todo en español o solo algunas partes. Por una parte porque recuerda cómo los sistemas informáticos fallaban (o fallan) al pasarles datos con tildes, eñes, etc., por otra parte pues porque API, formatos, etc., están en inglés.
La colonización de la mente por medio de la [in]conveniencia... 🙂

:xmpp: Una forma de dinamizar grupos o salas XMPP en español (hasta donde llego, veo todo muy quieto salvo alguna excepción) es hacer algún tipo de difusión para abrir y compartir en las salas con quienes hablen portugués.

There was an issue with newly uploaded pictures, but @fossie, who also migrated the wiki, fixed it.

I think this is my first time being on the other side of a #TwitterMigration. It's pretty cool! For all the new folks here making an #introduction for those concerned about not being able to find POC, I strongly recommend starting by following hashtags and using those to follow people who use/are associated with them. I did that and found a really active, engaged, diverse, and vibrant Black community here. Use the following hashtags in particular:
#BlackFedi #BlackMastodon #BlackTwitter #BlackFriday (I joined last November when this hashtag was created).
There are other hashtags associated with other communities - our Indigenous siblings use #Indigenous and maybe #NDN, not sure. And every once in a while, someone will tweet a bunch of good accounts to follow. Personally, I could do with more #french #francais or #spanish #espanol content, but that's kind of on me.

I decided to start learning some Spanish again! I have hardly used it after I learnt it at school 15 years ago, but I remember more than I though!
It feels surprisingly "comfortable" to learn it though - maybe because it's closer to my mother tongue than the other languages I've studied the last decade. Less headache, and I have an easier time remembering new words.
I hope I can improve a bit, since I'm still at a very basic level.. Suggestions/tips are welcome! ?
