Betula@travisfw @wraptile it's bad enough for numerous instances to defederate, and for Betula, a public project, it's quite important. I believe that the new admin team will set things straight, but I don't think refederation will happen.
Although I don't exactly know what are the numbers... Will take a look into it later.
