I was confronted with my own glaring error, and realized I had to change my mind, immediately. That was about three years prior to Orthodoxy; up to that point, in that time-window, I still regarded myself as the vested-authority in Scriptural interpretation. That changed upon entering an Orthodox Church Service. It’s been a pretty steady diet of self-Will challenges ever since.
