For now most of the people heading up these right-wing movements are grifters full of empty promises, but the public discontent they represent is real. This is where too many on our side get caught up in the noise. They'll win eventually, and there will likely be many betrayals of their supporters when it happens, but it's a stepping stone. One step at a time, if things don't get fixed the demand to install somebody who isn't full of bullshit will continue to grow.
