It was 2am, maybe 3am. I went to my library to return a book at the book drop.
I hopped out, left my car running, it'd just be a second.
A cop arrives.
"What are you doing?"
"Returning a book. What's it to you?"
"At this hour?"
"Precisely the time to use the after hours book drop"
"Can I see your ID?"
"🤣 Fuck No!"

And I got in my car and drove away.
He did not follow.
