     A story you might enjoy (and also the experience that helped me understand what white priviledge actually means).

     It was 2am, maybe 3am. I went to my library to return a book at the book drop.
     I hopped out, left my car running, it'd just be a second.
     A cop arrives.
     "What are you doing?"
     "Returning a book. What's it to you?"
     "At this hour?"
     "Precisely the time to use the after hours book drop"
     "Can I see your ID?"
     "🤣 Fuck No!"

     And I got in my car and drove away.
     He did not follow.

     I got another!
     I saw a protest I disagreed with, so I flipped them off.
     I got pulled over.
     The come comes up to my window, "What was that gesture back there?"
     "Those fucks are insisting [shitty opinion], so I flipped them off!"
     "You can't do that."
     "The fuck I can't! The Constitution is higher rank than you! So am I free to go?"
     I was free to go.

     @hellomiakoda @CedarTea Damn you can get away with stuff like that over there? Here in Romania you don't have your ID on you or refuse to show it to a cop you get fined and/or arrested

     The law apparently got repealed in 2020 but from what I've heard they'll just make some shit up to take you to the station anyway
