Free does not mean gratis no matter how many ads you watch and believe.


Many programmers make a living writing and maintaining free software, as they are paid to do so.

Most programmers develop free software, as most programmers write custom software, which is free for the only user.

There are unfortunately a few thousand programmers who write proprietary malware and we need to stamp such abhorrent practice out, for what is right and just and for the good of humanity.
