@shadowsminder @semitones one example I always get back to: YouTube replaced subtitles that creators could provide with horrible automatically generated ones.
They’re practically useless with any sort of special interest channel as it doesn’t know the vocabulary used.
Of course those automated subtitles work fine in bullshit channels that do stuff like conspiracy theories—because they use simple vocabulary and grammar on purpose.
