@chjara@snowdin.town @lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me @enigmatico@fedi.absturztau.be which is also the case in switzerland lol. governance is done at state, province and community level. and each of them have a way for the people to participate in, either through voting, initiative or referendum.
i think, having governance only on community level might raise the need of an overarching governance at some point since most communities are not able to be autonomous in themselves and need to interact with others in one or the other way. and as soon as you have to interact with others, you end up with disagreement sooner or later which then needs politics to resolve
