@Calvin @coolboymew Oh no, not FPSes, the N64 was actually stacked af there for a console of its era: Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Turok 1-3 and Rage Wars, a very well received Quake II port, Doom 64, The World Is Not Enough, Forsaken - considering just how few games the N64 got overall, and its reputation as a kiddy console, it's actually kinda shocking just how many good FPS games it had. I'd argue FPSes might have been its second best genre after 3D platformers.

Fighting games were definitely pretty few tho, and also Grand Turismo-style driving sims. Overall, the console was carried super hard by Nintendo (obviously) and Rare, who absolutely outdid themselves during the N64 era.
