konstruct@jeffowski it's not that deep, this just a random post I saw and enjoyed but didn't feel like copying manually in the moment, and I thought I'd let you know why, at least. Now I definitely don't want to because I'm getting attacked for it and that is scary and exhausting.
Just leave me be, like damn, just calm down. I often make more posts about the erosion of democracy anyway, so really there is no issue here.
Do you realize how low the stakes are here?
Politics isn't "hmm today I will boost this image because it will get seven likes on mastodon", politics is about showing up, protesting, contacting politicians, proposing solutions, deconstructing evil, and so much more than callout posts or senseless toxic arguing over the internet.
Do you want to be correct, or do you just want to Win? This isn't about being truthful, you're just bashing away not wanting to hear anything back! I can't even contsructively criticize your posts without getting flamed!
I like the images and videos you post, but this is just toxic, and very far from what I expect from allies. "Be excellent to each other" goes out the window whenever someone slightly displeases you? I will not share media that I get from people like you, who extrapolate someone's entire worth and political value like you do, to any of my friends, because I want to be excellent to them, and this, this is downright dangerous. I hope you see what you are doing wrong now, because I can't point it out more obviously for you.
