@Humpleupagus @C_J_S @alessmussolini88 My theory is that our brains have mental fields that can interact with each other at short distances. This is why it's so intense to be in a crowd at political rally or a concert, and why people often act differently when in a crowd. This would also mean it's possible to read minds and influence other people thoughts, although the other person may interpret them as their own, and vice versa. I believe this is also why you can "sense" if a person is nearby, even if you don't see, hear, or smell them.
