Decided it was not worth the time to think about it and I should just start firing wildly over my shoulder without aiming or looking. :strangelovewant: Then pwm or pernis or one of them (I muted that thread) said "hi bot" in the scrumble thread and it clicked.

It's like when eris respawned as book and I had the same reaction as I had to eris and then this "book" guy started screeching at me and him being eris slipped out. You can't actually be a different person: if you change your name, the same people will still like you and the same people will still dislike you. It's possible to get off on the wrong foot, sure, but after enough interactions, it's not a remotely likely case. Some people will not ever get along with each other. This is fine, the world is big, but there's some kind of sickness that makes people unable to accept it.
