@UKFilmNerd@mastodon.me.uk that's the thing, they never really nailed fake reflections (screen space reflections are ok some of the time) so ray-traced reflections really stand out
faked lighting is at the point where ray-tracing might be more technically accurate but not enough that anyone's going to notice and if it's not denoised well it's going to look worse too
