@entropyrider @Zardoz @BroDrillard To be clear, I am not talking about the "PCR Tests" - where they cranked-up the amplification-rates to insane-levels, to create mostly false-positives, because "positive tests" were rewarded with govt-money - the method used to create the "case-demic" out of healthy people - then, "asymptomatic spread" coming out of that to justify lockdowns, masking non-sick people, etc.

In the case of the study to which I referred, above: If you have a long sequence associated with "sick" people - as in, they have actual symptoms - a sequence which is unique to this outbreak (does not match sequences mapped in the large database of previous diseases) - then, one can map when changes occur in that sequence = "variants."

Which takes us back to the apparent stupidity of making the "vaccine" only target one part of the virus, vs how the immune system will target mutliple aspects. The more ways the body can recognize the virus, the more mutations it must make to not be detected by a previously-infected person.

In this context, until Omicron**, everyone who had SARS had natural-immunity to every variant of "covid," due to common features recognized by the immune system, which did *not* include the "novel" (Moderna's patented) spike-protein.

** Some believe there is no logical mutation pathway to Omicron, and noting that it was much less likely to cause severe disease (all "covid" was only ever a threat to the old/sick), it was released as a type of "weakened live virus" vaccine, which spread even more easily than the other covid-strains, so "out-competed" them in distribution.
