@SuperDicq @hj @FreeinTX @hexman The FCC are the ones who pushed the regulations regarding cellular phone use in flight and it had nothing to do with aviation safety and everything to do with cellular phones in flight constantly jumping towers or whatever, something that the FCC didn't like. But it didn't bother the FAA.
Contemporaneously there is 5G interference affecting radar altimeters, but this can't really be regulated because it involves cellular phones and networks on the ground in/around airports and not passengers in the back.
