@noyoushutthefuckupdad @apropos i liked in the OG baldur's gate that you can get lots of different party members and sometimes they hate each other and would murder one another or leave the party. or that they can get gibbed by a critical hit and be permadead. oops, better go find somebody else to recruit.

with bg3 there are only a few characters and they all have these long winded back stories. plus everybody levels up at the same rate and if somebody dies you just revive them. it put me off a bit and doesn't seem like it would have the same amount of replay value i got from the old game.
