> Little Tokyo and San Gabriel Valley are reasonable shots.
Oh, man. So, Hama in Little Tokyo, but they're closed Sundays and I think Mondays? Great sushi, like really great, and won't break the bank. SGV, try Chili King, it's on Valley, if Sichuan No. 1 has reopened then try that place. The hotpot places are great but definitely, like, do Chinese hotpot, guagua beats shabushabu; see pictures.
Lotta really good noodle places. If you want some excellent Japanese ramen, Shinsengumi; there'll be a line if you go too late in the evening, there's a line at *all* of them, there are like four locations, definitely worth it. If there are enough people with you, split an order of gyoza and they have some deep-fried softshell crab, great stuff. Obviously the noodles are amazing, the stock is amazing.
I think the Stuffed Sandwich on Las Tunas is closed but if it is open, do yourself a favor. Otherwise, there are like a million great greasy-spoon pastrami burger places: Tops (but Tops changes a lot by location).
There are about a million really nice tea places in the 626, they all have wifi and a lot of them have either Metal Slug or couches; depends. I hear Zephyr in Pasadena on Colorado has reopened, coffee shop near PCC, they used to have Middle Eastern snacks and hookahs.
You wanna do some touristy shit, the Huntington Library is a massive arboretum (you will definitely at *least* get a handjob if you take a girl) with a museum and a lot of cool shit. I think JPL tours are weekends only. If you don't hate hiking and nature shit, then there's plenty of that; I don't know where to go, though, I always got dragged to those things and my main concern was finding a place to put cigarette butts, usually a water bottle or something.
> I have come to LA for the purposes of preparing magic to eliminate a memory of mine,
This is ominous.
I saw someone post some, like, it was an anime girl with three heads and this made me wonder if, in your case, three heads means one eye per head or one eye total, all three heads.
