    You mean for long site-to-site connections, right? All the cheap NICs and switches you find online for home use are LC/LC multimode (orange cables being OM1, blue cables being OM3 or OM4). I accidentally got a single mode yellow patch cable and discovered the hard way they're not compatible. 😅
