At first I hated how zero apartments had dryers or dish washers (some didn't even have washing machines) but once you do those things manually, you really come to realize how little labor is saved in supposed labor saving devices compared to the energy it costs to run them. People will complain about electricity bills here in the US but stick their nose up if you say you use clotheslines and manually scrub your dishes.
