I will eventually make one my idea is similar to yours. A passive solar system with a wood stove to boost. I was thinking about using this small rocket stove with a stock pot filled with sand that surrounded the stove pipe. The sand will hold on to the heat from the stove & transfer it to the copper tubing in the sand. I was thinking about using a small pump to get the heat/cold transfer to start then it will eventually just run without the pump.
