@KingOfWhiteAmerica @mitchconner It's tough because I like the concept, but I agree. Too many "Christians" are very a la carte with which parts of Christian tradition, including The Bible, that they keep to. Not good!

For the sola scriptura gang— you literally cannot get a better abridged guide to the faith than The Bible, so I have no issue conceptually if that's you. Just don't proof-text and also use your brain and heart and guidance from The Holy Spirit and test any guidance you feel you're receiving, including by fellowship and prayer with fellow believers. I can't stand low tier arguments that I've actually encountered in real life.

By the same logic, I asked and confirmed that they call a school "teacher" as such and are similarly 'damned' by their own 'logic'. People can be really silly.
