If they didn't constantly blacklist me then I might think this was okay to do. Even if it was okay to do, then it still doesn't get rid of the spam from GMail.

    > my setup refuses to even accept it in the first place

I know how it works, yes. I know how a mail server works. My mail server receives a bunch of shit from GMail and GMail silently discards mail from me. If I could eliminate the first problem, then the second problem wouldn't bother me so much. If GMail dropped the pretense of being an email system, then that would eliminate the first problem. That was the joke.

:lookhowtheymassacredmyboy: The joke is now dead.

How do you know that you have no false positives if you rejected it before getting the message?

    > I give them theirdomain.tld@mydomain.tld

Some of them block addresses that have their name as a substring.

I just make up aliases, and I have a few queued up so that I don't have to ssh to the mail server to add a new one. A lot of them filter spam@ so I made fcnz@, which filled up with spam, so I turned it off. (If I forget an alias, I just look at the To field for mail from the company in question.)
