@shibao @scathach idk about you but almost every site that I would post on doesn't even allow me to exist. I'm permanentlybanned off the twatter for antisemitism or antifaggotry or something and 4chan is just a cesspool with no real replacement after the death of 8chan. Everywhere you go but here is censored and any normie account is on an instance that censors everyone controversial. Basically every mastodon instance defederates my instance for holocaust denial or something

the cool people I've met in the past 10 years have been in pub servers for games and I keep in touch with them on Steam. The people I used to know on twitter have all left it except one and he still spends half his time here instead

so there's kind of a global censorship apparatus suppressing our public speech as hard as it possibly can
