   @scathach@stereophonic.space then why is it so hard to find people like me then? like the only two places i know i could find people like me are twitter and /k/, but like 80% of the people on that niche twitter microcommunity are fucking insane for several reasons, and on /k/ i only know of one other group that exists that aren't just generic retarded /k/ people and they're only moderately crazy but still more than i want to deal with. all these years and i just have my friend group and chosen family, and now amelia which has been like, such an insanely lucky find that it's basically winning the lottery

I'm permanentlybanned off the twatter for antisemitism or antifaggotry or something and 4chan is just a cesspool with no real replacement after the death of 8chan. Everywhere you go but here is censored and any normie account is on an instance that censors everyone controversial. Basically every mastodon instance defederates my instance for holocaust denial or something
     
     the cool people I've met in the past 10 years have been in pub servers for games and I keep in touch with them on Steam. The people I used to know on twitter have all left it except one and he still spends half his time here instead
     
     so there's kind of a global censorship apparatus suppressing our public speech as hard as it possibly can
