But there’s a couple problems with Pt.

First you need a hotter torch to work on it. I won’t touch platinum in-house because I’d need to be running acetylene in a retail space and the fire dept would not like that.

Second issue is chlorine damage is more of an issue. It’s better than white gold which just shatters apart, but only marginally.

Third is it is a bitch to cast. You need to send out to a platinum pro.
