     Ft. Knox is presumed to have about 4,580 metric tons of gold.

     So bro is buying nearly buying 1/20 of Ft Knox.

     But there’s a couple problems with Pt.

     First you need a hotter torch to work on it. I won’t touch platinum in-house because I’d need to be running acetylene in a retail space and the fire dept would not like that.

     Second issue is chlorine damage is more of an issue. It’s better than white gold which just shatters apart, but only marginally.

     Third is it is a bitch to cast. You need to send out to a platinum pro.

     If a buyer exercising $14b physical delivery doesn't get it, there will be issues regardless of whether the COMEX has a right to settle those contracts in cash. You're talking about extreme reputational damage to the futures market and the function it's supposed to serve.
