Yeah, about that - their circuit boards are all intentionally designed terribly with underspeeced components, their butterfly keyboards have been known to be incredibly unreliable, the ribbon cables for many displays were known to break as a result of normal usage and have soldered STORAGE and many other things, so much of the hardware fails within a few years (although most of the units survive for the typical usage length).

Just because a computer uses an aluminum case and uses a competent hinge design doesn't mean the rest of the computer is quality.


The gimmick of the framework laptop is that it's modular and it seems people who have more money than sense like that gimmick.
