Inflation doesn't account either. The rate of tuition for example isn't explained by Inflation. I can't recall the exact number, but my father really paid about $70.00 a semester to go to a state college.

I paid $15k+ a semester for law school, and I had a partial scholarship on top of that.

Undergrad was a little cheaper, but not $70.00.
