it's all by Design though. Like here's an example, dad is a stone Mason , all beat to shit but real man's man. Fucking hands like bricks , God fearing good man. Doesn't owe anything to anybody. Lives in a modest house with modest things. Son looks at that and thinks fuck that LOL they start looking at Instagram and tiktok and buy into the bullshit. Dad is too tired to try and instill a trade on a kid who doesn't give a damn. Dad gives up almost immediately . Finally kid comes around, problem is you can't even survive on entry level trade work. What is the reason that you would ever want to train to be a stonemason or a painter or something like that right now when you would just be tossed away for the next Jose they would do it for $4 cheaper an hour and never ask for days off and never complained? People are discouraged greatly from learning anything and that is the big problem.
