@ryo @matana I'm pretty sure, from my highly scientific research (looking at the number of results in Paheal and Gelbooru) that the Sword and Shield girl was more popular than the one in Sun and Moon, though Sun and Moon had more female characters, most of them pretty damn popular. But Sword and Shield had some really good character designs too. I think there was no decline from one to the other. The new games, though... really not seeing much. On Gelbooru there's more, but it's mostly just some fanart of the weird ancap girl.
