It was wildly popular with bands, and allowed people to add their own HTML and CSS to their page, which was kinda great when people really leaned into it
It had tons of charisma but just kinda stopped evolving and become a wasteland
Facebook was originally for "college accounts" which helped give it the "real people under real names" approach which was different than arguing with BoogerBoy69 ..
