@CrustyBurgerhead @deprecated_ii Ok in the begining, poles fought imperial slavs and imperial germans. They dont like either. Poland 1 died and got cut into pieces like Austria-Hungary and other weird bits.

AusHgy took part in ww1 and died. That original bit of poland 1 that contained current day kiev decided to go independent. They call themselves ukraine.

Poles also somehow decided to make poland 2. They wanted to take back kiev before turning back round to fight germans. So they decided to invade east and attack ukraine. Poles make it known they hate slavs and start fucking with the slav civil war. (Royals vs soviets)

So the soviets after finishing the infighting came for the slav bit. For some reason ukes decided to fight slavs instead and teamed up with poland 2.

Ukes got absorbed into soviet land. Poles got routed back to their ww1 zone. Now the slavs wary of the polish problem.

Ww2 about to kick off. Germans and soviets decide not to fuck with each other and divide up poland 2 instead.

Poles knew they cant win and no one backs them, so they gave up without much fighting.

Project that onto today. Soviets decided in their mental fog to make "ukraine" a thing again. Dies. Ukriane starts to fight slavs. Poland 3 supports the shit out of it waiting for their turn to invade "lwow" and make poland 4.
