The biggest asset of organizations that are fighting for freedom (of software/ of expression/ from war etc) is their social credibility.
This is the asset that big tech want to buy. That's why META, Google etc are giving money to those organizations and we now know that they are very good at influence our community.
In my mind, @fsf is doing something right if big tech doesn't want to give them donations.
