I'm pretty sure something is not right here. In Russia, a silver fox is a kind of a normal fox just like pather is a kind of a leopard. There's also a separate species of a polar wolf, but I'm taking about specifically a fox.
FWIW, WebMD claims: "In a recent study, scientists at Cornell used 50 generations of selective breeding to successfully breed silver foxes that displayed friendliness toward people." Could be AI trash these days.
