@lienrag what I've learned is that Catholics don't actually espose the teachings of the Bible, but people I brefriended of a very quiet but insular Christian cult that I shouldn't name actually do. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. Nice enough that I'd actually join them even though I don't believe the lore behind their teachings.

I don't have trauma. I knew it was bullshit when I was very young. I spent years getting in trouble for rejecting their teachings and asking the wrong questions -- as far back as when I was in 3rd grade.

I don't know why they were obsessed with making kids do coloring books of Jesus, but they especially hated how I'd give him camouflage and guns and just make a mockery of the entire thing lol
