Nazo@nixCraft I don't know. I had a pretty interesting experience a while back where an older system stopped working entirely with apt-get but worked fine with apt. It was like they handled databases differently and apt handled the newer stuff more correctly or something because apt-get couldn't do any upgrades anymore on that system.
